Founder Lactation Help
Since 2011 it has been my privilege to work with families right from the beginning of their lactation journey. You can find my articles throughout our site.
I love my job as a lactation consultant!
Working with families who are expecting a new baby to arrive has brought so much joy and fulfillment every day as we develop a plan that matches their unique requirements.
Helping mothers find their own personal successes in their breastfeeding journey is the best success I could ask for.
As a woman with PCOS, I am thrilled that I was eventually successfully able to have a baby and breastfeed.
I know that without the support of fertility specialists and all of the lactation consultants I would not have been able to overcome my challenges and achieve my personal breastfeeding goals.

Founder GTA Breastfeeding
Originally from the UK, I moved to Canada in 2003. My breastfeeding experience with my oldest child changed my life forever and set me on a path to become an IBCLC.
As many pregnant moms do, I assumed that since breastfeeding is “natural”, that it would also be easy. This did not turn out to be the case. I experienced many breastfeeding issues with my first son but was very lucky to have excellent support during that time from family, friends, and professionals. My personal experiences taught me the importance of non-judgmental care; providing families with up to date information to enable them to achieve their own goals.
For the last 5+ years, I have been working with multiple dentists assisting them with tongue tie evaluation and releases. I also have a special interest in supporting mothers prenatally who have experienced breastfeeding problems with their previous children.
